About Us
History
After graduating from East High School in 1973, Richard Burton the founder of KeyStone Construction started working in all phases of
construction, being everything from a laborer, framer, drywaller, concrete finisher and most other trades.
He then decided to go into business for himself and started as Richard Burton Home Improvements in spring of 1979 doing small
home improvement jobs and getting his name out.
In the summer of 1980 he received his contractor license and began doing larger jobs. He moved on from small home improvements
and handy man jobs to additions and remodels.
In 1989 he started Keystone Construction Company and with the help of
some faithful past customers the company began to grow very rapidly.
Currently Keystone Construction is focused on developing custom homes and
is engaged in several fix and flip projects around the Denver Metro area.
Philosophy
Keystone Construction has no employees, Richard Burton works as the general contractor and project manager on all
the projects Keystone Construction works on. With an extensive list of highly qualified and skilled subcontractors
Keystone Construction can deliver an entire home on time and on budget.
Keystone Construction prides itself on working on only one job at a time until it is completed. Other contractors
split their time across many projects and don't provide the level of dedication or service to thier customers.
By focusing on one project at a time we are able to provide you with our full attention and that is something that
shows in the finished product.
Each subcontractor has been a part of the Keystone Construction team for many years. Rick has known each one personally for
many years and knows that their work will meet his very high, detail oriented standards.
We believe that a job has to be done right the first time. We owe it to our customers and we expect it of our subcontractors.
Honesty
We have been in business for over 25 years and have learned a lot about people and business.
The most important thing in business is making sure your customers are satisfied with your work and your promises.
We always provide you with the service you expect and we stand firmly behind our work.
We always communicate with our clients and make sure they understand all that is involved in their project.
Communication is key to a successful customer relationship. We explain to our customers why they need to do things
a certain way, explain the pros and cons of each option and make sure the client has all the information they need
to make the best decision possible.
We depend on our customers to help the business grow, Keystone Construction does not advertise because our work speaks for itself.
The word of mouth advertising our projects produce has always exceeded our expectation and has driven the business forward for over 25 years.
